Hello, friends. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been unable to sleep. This has never happened to me before. Ask my family and they’ll tell you that I have an expiration time of 10pm at night. Yeah, I’m not really a night owl at all. Normally I fall asleep as soon as my head touches the pillow and I don’t move until my alarm goes off the next morning, and sometimes not even then! But lately I’ve been watching the sun come up while tossing and turning and trying to fall asleep. It’s awful! During the day I have bad headaches from a lack of sleep. Well, tonight I am going to try a medicine Wander gave me. It’s all natural — the only reason I’m taking it…I don’t really know why, but I HATE taking medicine, I pretty much have to be forced to take something. That is unless I have a migraine and then I’ll be begging for some pain meds.
Anyway, I hope it works and I get to sleep tonight. Tomorrow we are going to Copacabana and Ipanema. I heard that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are filming some Twilight thing there right now and then Vin Diesel is filming “The Fast and the Furious 4” in Rio. Someone else is filming something else right now, too, but I don’t remember what it is…So yeah, maybe I’ll meet someone famous! I mean I did get to meet Matthew Morrison from Glee on my way back from Italy…and I ran into the AS Roma players at the Coliseum in Rome…and there was that time I got to be an extra in a Hugh Jackman film…I’m thinking luck is on my side! Haha, I’ll let you know.
Okay, well, here are some random articles, videos, things, etc that I’ve found in the wee hours of the morning…
Meet Danny and Annie, “Brooklynites Danny, an OTB clerk, and Annie, a nurse, remember their life together—from their first date to Danny’s final days with terminal cancer. This remarkable couple personifies the eloquence, grace, and poetry that can be found in the voices of every day people if we take the time to listen. Originally an animation in two parts, here you’ll see a special version that combines both parts of their story.” Visit Story Corps for more recordings of ordinary people’s stories.
The two above are two different opinions on the same subject…so read both together if you want…
Well, I’m going to try to get some sleep now.
Grace and Peace,
