Meet my friend, S. If you’ve been reading my blog for long you’ll recognize her. We’ve been on quite a few adventures together. Maybe you’ve even visited our joint blog, GabbAdventures. Sarah, or Sabby as I like to call her, has been a dear friend for many years. It has been a pleasure to grow with her. Sometimes we do silly things, other times we get into serious political discussions (we do of course always agree), sometimes we just relax, and we love to pray and read together. Anyway, you get the picture, Sarah has been and is a faithful friend. I love her and you would too if you knew her.
A few weeks ago Sarah came home from a DTS, or Discipleship Training School, in Berlin, Germany through YWAM. You should definitely watch her recap video at her blog, Memoirs of a Musician. Sarah is such a talented musician and this particular DTS emphasis was on transforming the arts.
It’s been such a pleasure to hear all about what God has done in Sarah’s heart and life through her time in Germany and the outreach time in Thailand. One of the things that God did was call her to a secondary school in Holland. This school is an intensive school of worship where S will learn how to lead and learn more about music. There are three months of lecture and learning for her and then she’ll be headed out to Egypt for two months of sharing the gospel with the people there. I’m so excited to see what God has for her in Holland and Egypt.
Kathryn and I are so excited about our new business and want it to reflect our love for missions. Soooooo, if you would like to support Sarah, you can purchase a pair of beautiful Ruby K Designs earrings and have a portion of the profits go to Miss Sarah Anne Brown. Just leave us a note when you check out and we’ll be sure to donate some $$$ to Sarah.
